1.Description: Honed tube is a kind of smooth bore steel tube used to manufacture hydraulic cylinder barrels that is the core part of a piece of hydraulic cylinder. Honed tubes are widely used in hydraulic cylinders, cylinders, hydraulic machinery, engineering machinery, petroleum machinery, agricultural machinery, filling machinery, mining machinery and other fields.
Honing is a kind of machining technology. Through honing head, the inner hole of cold drawn pipe is processed by reciprocating high-speed grinding technology, so that the inner hole can meet the requirements of tolerance size and surface roughness that we need.

Difference between honed tube and skived & roller burnished tube: In hydraulic cylinder industry, there are 2 solutions for bore treatment: Honing, and skiving&roller burnishing. Honing or skiving&roller burnishing leads to different internal surface image, but both ensure good roughness.

8. Bore roughness control: Ra0.25um max or Ra0.35um max for honed tubes, Ra0.25um max for skived&roller burnished tubes.

9. End finish: Plain ends with square cuts, free of burrs for honed tubes. Little bevelled ends for skived&roller burnished tubes.

10. Standard export packing: In bundles tied with steel strips. Int&ext oil coating. End plastic caps. External packing by PVC bags and knit bags.

11. Customized packing and marking can be provided upon request.

Hydraulic steel tube is designed to convey liquid fluids to among hydraulics components, fittings, valves, flanges, and other tools. It is made of material E355 (ST 52.4) or E235 (ST 37.4). These two grades have different chemical composition. This helps to control the working pressure.

Hydraulic honed tube is made according to DIN 2391/C (DIN EN 10305-1) or DIN 2445/2 (DIN EN 10305-4) standards and it is available in millimeters, inches outer diameter, and inches nominal bore size.

13. Hydraulic cylinder tube ------ Used in the hydraulic cylinder of the heavy machinery, Cranes, excavator also forklifts. Material is various, mainly STKM-13CT ST52 CK45 and 1020. We can work and get the mechanical property of the clients need and extended the life of the hydraulic cylinder.
14. Honed tube ----- used in Elevator buffer and Hydraulic Cylinder. This kind tube have a better roughness inner the tube,ra0.2-0.4um and can use directly in the hydraulic cylinder tube. Range: ID 50-250mm and Length can work at most 6M.
15. Cold finished tube ---- Widely Used. Processing range 30-300mm, biggest length is 11M.
