Casing and tubing for Sour Oil and Gas Service must have a good anti-SSCC performance in the environment where hydrogen sulfide corrosion exists.

After an indepth study, we has successfullydeveloped tubular goods of the Cr-Mo series for this purpose with good hardenability and tempering stability that when tempering takes places at certain temperatures uniform and fine sorbite structures can be obtained.

Their mechanicalproperties can meet fully the requirements of corresponding grades and their anti-SSC performance is excellent byregulating the chemical composition and adopting different heat treatment  procedures.

Characteristics:

• 1. Materials: The chemical compositions have been carefully determined to provide resistance to sulfide stress corrosion
• as well as to insure complete through wall hardening.
• 2.Heat Treatment: Quenching and Tempering are conducted under rigid temperature control to assure homogeneous
• physical properties and microstructures.
• 3.Micro Structure: These grades exhibit fully tempered martensite which is considered to be the most desirable for
• resistance to sulfide stress corrosion cracking.
• 4. Tensile Properties and Hardness:  Yield Strength is limited within a narrow range and hardness is controlled to within
• the predetermined maximum limit.
• 5. Sulfide Stress Cracking (SSC) Performance: Whole grades are designed for 85% or 90% SMYS in NACE condition.

Applycation

The special oil pipe is mainly used for the drilling of oil and gas Wells and the transportation of oil and gas. The utility model includes oil drilling pipe, oil casing and oil pumping pipe. Oil drill pipe is mainly used to connect the drill collar to the drill bit and transfer drilling power.

Oil casing is mainly used to support the well wall during drilling and after well completion, so as to ensure the drilling process and the normal operation of the whole well after well completion. Suction tubing mainly carries oil and gas from the bottom of the well to the surface. 

Oil casing is the lifeline of oil well operation. Due to different geological conditions, the underground stress state is complicated, tensile, compressive, bending and torsional stress act on the pipe body, which puts forward higher requirements on the quality of the casing itself. 

Once the casing itself is damaged for some reason, the entire well may be reduced or even scrapped. According to the strength of the steel itself, the casing can be divided into different steel grades, namely J55, K55, N80, L80, C90, T95, P110, Q125, V150 and so on. 

Different well conditions, well depth, the use of steel grades are also different. In the corrosive environment, the casing itself is also required to have corrosion resistance. In the place of complex geological conditions, it is also required that the casing has the performance of anti-collapse.
