Technically, the COP of cooled water chiller is higher than that of air cooled water chiller. Compared with air cooled air conditioner with the same cooling capacity, cool water chiller have more stable operation, higher energy efficiency and longer service life.

In terms of price, the total cost of air cooled units is less than that of water cooled units, and there is no need to consider the machine room area, the installation and operation costs of cooling towers and water pumps, and no professional maintenance and management. It is more suitable for water-scarce areas or places with limited machine room area.

In terms of installation, water cooled units need to be used with cooling towers, while air cooled units can be moved without other assistance.

However, air cooled chillers only rely on fans to dissipate heat, and have certain requirements for the environment: such as ventilation, humidity, temperature cannot exceed 40℃, air pH value...

Therefore, water cooled units and air cooled units each have their own advantages and disadvantages. Users can comprehensively consider your actual needs and preferences to choose the unit that suits you best.
