The safety valve can monitor the pressure changes at the wellhead. When the wellhead pressure exceeds the set value, the safety valve will automatically open and release the excessive pressure to protect the wellhead equipment from damage.

The safety valve can control the wellhead pressure within a safe range by adjusting the set value. This is very important to maintain stable production of oil wells. Too high or too low wellhead pressure will affect the productivity and production efficiency of oil wells.
