Air Jet Mill

System Composition:

The air jet mill system is composed of an air compressor, an air storage tank, a refrigeration dryer (including a filter), an airflow pulverizing main unit, a high-precision classifier, a cyclone collector, a pulse bag filter, a high-pressure induced fan, a control cabinet, a loading and unloading system, and so on.

Working Principle:

After being chilled, filtered, and dried, the compressed air is propelled through nozzles to form supersonic airflow into the pulverizing chamber, fluidizing the material. The accelerated material converges at the intersection of the jets from several nozzles, resulting in intense collisions, friction, and shearing to achieve ultrafine pulverization of particles. The pulverized material is transported upward by the airflow to the impeller classification zone. Under the centrifugal force of the classifier and the suction force of the fan, coarse and fine powders are separated. The coarse powder returns to the pulverizing chamber for further pulverization based on its own gravity. The qualified fine powder enters the cyclone collector with the airflow, while the fine dust is collected by the bag filter. The purified gas is discharged by the induced fan.
