Compared with paraffin wax candles, soy wax candles have many advantages.

Candles can create a romantic atmosphere and give off a pleasant aroma, but most candles are made from paraffin wax, a petroleum-derived product that releases black smoke and chemicals when lit. Soy candles are cleaner and take longer to burn.

Soy candles burn more slowly than regular candles, releasing the essential oils that make the fragrance more slowly and gently. Unlike scented paraffin candles, soy candles do not produce excessive aroma. Therefore, soy candles do not affect a person's sense of smell or taste

Process of soy wax candle making:

1. Prepare a little color candle dye(candle pigment).

2. Heat the soy wax pieces in a pot to melt the wax. In the melted wax to add color to the color, according to the preferred color depth to determine the amount of color, generally light color effect is better. Shake the pot a little to melt the color into the wax, and sprinkle a few drops of water into the wax.

3, the color of the wax liquid into the prepared mold, the height can be customized. If it is a homemade mold, be careful not to leave gaps to prevent the wax liquid from flowing out.

4, in advance, tie one end of the cotton wick on the candle center device (the tcandle holder can prevent being burned by the wax liquid, but also adjust the position of the cotton core), put the other end in the wax liquid to adjust the color, waiting for the wax liquid to solidifying.

5, if you want to make several colors of candles, you can pour layers into the mold. After the layer is coagulated, the layer is reversed, and so on.

6, after the color candle is completely solidified, tear the mold, cut the excess candle wick short, and a scented color candle is done. Note: Do not pour the remaining wax water into the sewer, otherwise it will block the lower channel. Pour it onto a piece of paper and throw it away when it solidifies. In addition, the cotton wick on the candle should not be left too long, in case the flame is too large to cause danger after lighting.
