PPR Lifting Valves

    PPR lifting globe valve are ppr valves,used to control the flow of water, suitable for household and industrial pipeline systems. It is usually made of PPR (polypropylene random copolymer) material, which has good heat and chemical resistance and is suitable for transporting cold and hot water. The PPR lifting shut-off valve can be opened or closed by rotating the handle, which is easy to operate and can quickly cut off the water flow.

Working principle
The working principle of PPR lifting globe valve is based on the lifting motion of the valve disc to control the flow of water in the PPR water pipe or other pipe. This ppr valves mainly composed of a valve body, valve disc, valve stem, and handwheel. When the valve is in the closed state, the valve disc is tightly attached to the sealing surface of the valve body, preventing water flow through. When it is necessary to open the valve, operate the handwheel to drive the valve stem to move the valve disc upward, away from the sealing surface, allowing water to flow through the valve. The sealing surface design of the valve disc and valve body should ensure a tight fit even under low pressure to prevent water leakage. Due to the excellent heat and chemical resistance of PPR material, this valve is suitable for pipeline systems under various temperature and water quality conditions, including HDPE pipe, PPR pipe, PVC pipe, etc

Advantage:

• Good sealing performance: It can effectively prevent fluid leakage and ensure the sealing of the pipeline system.
• Accurate flow regulation: By adjusting the lifting degree of the valve core, the flow rate of the medium can be controlled more accurately.
• Strong durability: PPR material has good corrosion resistance and wear resistance, with a long service life.

Disadvantages:

• High resistance: The medium will generate significant pressure loss when passing through, which has a certain impact on the energy consumption of the system.
• The opening and closing operation is relatively slow: not as fast as ball valve operation.
