Capacitor

     Capacitor is widely used in all kinds of electrical appliances, here we mainly introduce air conditioner or refrigerator capacitor, starting capacitor etc.

     CD60 starting capacitor apply to 50/60Hz single phase AC motors for starting. It is widely used to heat pump, air conditioning, freezers, refrigerators etc. When motor starting, it provide for higher torque.

      A starting capacitor is an essential component in various electrical systems. It plays a crucial role during the startup phase to provide a higher initial current to overcome the inductive resistance and initiate the motor's rotation.
     In an induction motor, the rotor does not have any permanent magnets like a synchronous motor. Instead, it relies on the interaction between the stator's rotating magnetic field and the rotor's induced field. During startup, the capacitor provides a large burst of current to create a strong magnetic field in the stator, which helps the rotor to rotate and generate its own magnetic field. Once the motor reaches a certain speed, the capacitor is bypassed by a contactor, and the motor runs on the inductive current produced by the rotor.
     It's important to note that starting capacitors should be sized appropriately for the application and replaced if they show signs of failure, such as overheating, popping sounds, or reduced performance.
