Non rising stem gate valve characterized by the valve stem nut set on the gate plate, which drives the valve stem to rotate by turning the handwheel, thereby achieving the lifting and lowering of the gate plate. The design of the concealed stem gate valve converts operating torque into operating thrust. When the valve is opened, when the lifting height of the gate is equal to 1:1 times the valve diameter, the fluid channel is completely unobstructed. Hidden stem gate valves are usually connected by flanges. When selecting concealed gate valves, it should be noted that their specifications and categories should comply with the pipeline. Concealed gate valves can be connected to HDPE pipe and PVC pipe. For HDPE water pipe, hot melt connection is usually used, followed by threaded connection to valves with internal threads or flange connection for installation. For PVC water pipe, specially designed joints or adhesives can be used for connection, and valves should indicate the national standard number they are based on. If it is an enterprise standard, the procurement contract should be accompanied by the enterprise documents. The valve body material is generally ductile iron, cast steel, stainless steel, etc., and the grade and actual physical and chemical testing data of the cast iron are indicated.
