Non-Ferric Aluminium Sulphate For Water Use

 Aluminium Sulphate is colourless crystals, hydrous Aluminium Sulphate is glossy colourless granular or powdery crystals, industrial products are white or slightly grey powder or lumpy crystals, due to the presence of a small amount of ferrous sulphate impurities show green, oxidized product surface yellowing. Aluminium Sulphate is soluble in water, acid, alkali, insoluble in alcohol, easily soluble in water and hydrolysis, hydrolysis products for the alkali salt and aluminium hydroxide colloidal precipitate. When the water temperature is low, aluminium sulphate hydrolysis is difficult.

Preparation of Aluminium Sulphate
Sulfuric acid decomposition of bauxite method: Bauxite is crushed to 60 mesh, and reacted with 55%~60% sulfuric acid in the reactor under pressure for 6~8h, the crude reaction liquid is separated by sedimentation, evaporation and concentration, the clarified liquid is neutralized to neutral or slightly alkaline by adding acid, then cooled to make flakes or cooled to solidify and crushed, sieved, and the Aluminium Sulphate products are produced.
Sulphuric acid decomposition of aluminium hydroxide method: aluminium hydroxide reacts with sulphuric acid, the reaction solution is settled, concentrated, then cooled and solidified, crushed and sieved to produce finished aluminium sulphate products.
Kaolin method: kaolin (or clay) calcined by 700N800 ℃, crushed, with excess sulfuric acid decomposition, and then 1 method to get Aluminium sulfate finished products.
Alum method: alum calcined, crushed with sulfuric acid dissolved, filtered to get insoluble aluminium sulfate and potassium alum mixed solution, rapid cooling and crystallization to remove potassium alum, the mother liquor by evaporation and concentration, cooling and curing that is, Aluminium sulfate finished products.

Specification:

Storage and transportation: Aluminium Sulphate  should be complete and the loading should be safe. During transportation, ensure that the container does not leak, collapse, fall or damage. It is strictly prohibited to mix with oxidants and edible chemicals. During transportation,Aluminium Sulphate should be protected from sun exposure, rain and high temperature.
