The Plastic Pipe Vacuum Calibration Tank is a critical component in the production of plastic pipes, especially those made from materials such as PVC, HDPE or PPR. Its main function is to cool and size newly extruded plastic pipes while ensuring dimensional accuracy and minimizing internal stresses.

During the extrusion process, plastic pipes emerge at high temperatures and need to be quickly cooled and formed to meet the required specifications. The vacuum calibration tank is designed to achieve this by using a combination of vacuum pressure and water cooling.

The main functions of the Plastic Pipe Vacuum Calibration Tank include:

Sizing: The tank helps shape and size plastic pipes to meet precise diameter requirements. This is achieved by using specially designed tools and cooling techniques to ensure the required size of the pipe.

Cooling: Using water cooling, the tank quickly reduces the temperature of the extruded pipe, allowing its shape and structure to solidify while preventing deformation or warping.

Vacuum Calibration: The tank uses a vacuum system to control the forming of the pipe to ensure uniform wall thickness and consistent size throughout the length of the pipe.
