Polygeryl-6 Caprylate is a natural, PEG free, biodegradable ingredient widely used in cosmetics, food, feed, lubricants, and other fields. In Cosmetics & Personal Care products, it is mainly used as an auxiliary Emulsifying Agent and moisturizer, especially suitable for all types of cosmetic products, especially natural products.

It shows very good characteristics of dissolving natural and fatty oils, and is suitable for shampoo, shower gel/hand sanitizer/facial cleanser, makeup remover, wet towel, lotion and other products. The HLB value of polyglyceryl-6 octanoic acid ester is about 14-15, it appears as a colorless to light yellow liquid, with a purity of not less than 99%, an acid value not exceeding 12, a saponification value between 80-100, and a moisture content not exceeding 0.5%.
