Double-needle pressure gauges are mainly used on rolling stock to measure the pressure of hydraulic systems or cylinders. They can also be used to measure the pressure of various non-corrosive, amorphous and solidified media brazed with copper alloys and tin-lead alloys. The double-needle pressure gauge can measure two identical or different pressures at the same time (the difference between the two should generally not be greater than 1/3 of the limit on the scale range).

Structural principles

1. The double-needle pressure gauge consists of two independent measuring systems and indicating devices.

2. The working principle of the double-needle pressure gauge is based on the elastic deformation of the elastic element (the spring tube in the measuring system). That is, under the pressure of the measured medium, the ends of the two spring tubes are forced to produce corresponding displacements. With the help of the pull rod and the transmission mechanism of the wheel, the two spring tubes are amplified by the red and black pointers fixed on the wheel shaft. The measured values are indicated on the dial respectively.
