The ADSS cable boasts impressive characteristics. It's installable without power shutdown, delivering excellent AT performance with maximum inductive values reaching up to 25kV at operating point. Its lightweight and small diameter designs reduce ice and wind loads on towers and backprops. Span lengths can reach 500m or more, with good tensile strength and temperature performance. The design lifespan exceeds 30 years. Engineered with overhead power line conditions in mind, ADSS cable is designed for 110kV lines using PE outer sheath, while lines equal to or over 110kV employ AT outer sheath.
