SKYSIL SS-620L SILICON DIOXIDE POWDER

SS-620L is a high-performance organic modified silica matting agent developed specifically for high-end printing inks. Through innovative

surface treatment technology, it can fully benchmark Grace C7 and Evonik OK607, and has both imported quality and cost advantages.

This product adopts unique organosilane grafting technology, which not only ensures excellent matting performance, but also significantly

improves the compatibility with ink resin and system stability, providing a better solution for matte printing.

- Imported surface treatment process

SS-620L uses organosilane directional modification technology to achieve the same level of surface activity regulation as Grace C7 and

Evonik OK607:

• Hydroxyl blocking rate ＞95%: effectively reduce the surface polarity of particles and avoid agglomeration during ink storage;

• Long-chain organic group grafting: enhance the interfacial bonding with acrylic acid, polyurethane and other resins, and reduce the risk of

matting agent migration.

- Production-friendly design

• 5-second instant dissolving technology: pre-dispersion treatment shortens the dispersion time of the product in ester and ketone solvents

by 80%, and it is ready to use;

• Anti-sedimentation enhancement: hydrophobic surface and organic modification work together, the ink can be stored for 180 days without

hard precipitation, and the fluidity retention rate is >98%;

• Drying synergy enhancement: the porous structure accelerates solvent release, and the UV curing process can increase the production

line speed by 20%-35%.

- Application areas

• Import substitution solution: directly benchmarking the performance of Grace C7 and Evonik OK607, suitable for offset printing, gravure

printing and flexographic printing systems.
