OPGW is a cable structure that combines optical transmission and overhead ground wires for power transmission. It works in power transmission lines as both optical fiber cable and overhead ground wire, offering protection against lightning strikes and short-circuiting. The OPGW consists of a stainless steel tube, opgw fiber optic cable aluminum cladding steel wire, opgw fiber cable and aluminum alloy wire. Its central stainless steel tube structure and layer-stranding design allow for customization based on environment and customer requirements.
