What is HEC?

HEC, cosmetics materials, is a white or light yellow fibrous or powdered solid that is odorless and non-toxic. It is a non-ionic water-soluble polymer obtained by reacting cellulose with sodium hydroxide and then adding ethylene oxide for etherification. HEC has excellent physical and chemical properties, such as a stable pH value in the range of 2-12, viscosity that is not easily affected by pH changes, and the ability to dissolve in cold and hot water, which facilitates its application in multiple industries. Functions and applications

Thickening and stabilizing agents:
