Structural design Double-layer structure: It consists of an inner tank and an outer tank. The inner tank is used to store fuel, while the outer tank plays a role of protection and cofferdam. There is usually a certain gap between the two layers, which can be used to monitor leakage. Once the inner tank leaks, the fuel will flow into the gap, which is convenient for timely detection and treatment, and prevents the fuel from leaking directly into the surrounding environment. Self-cofferdam design: A cofferdam structure is set at the bottom and around the oil tank, combined with the double-layer tank body to form a relatively independent oil storage space. When the oil tank leaks, the cofferdam can effectively prevent the outflow and diffusion of fuel, and limit the leaked fuel within the range of the cofferdam to avoid pollution and harm to the surrounding environment. Material selection Carbon steel material: It has high strength and good corrosion resistance, and can withstand the pressure and chemical action during the storage and transportation of fuel. At the same time, carbon steel materials are relatively low in cost and have good economy. Anti-corrosion treatment: In order to further improve the corrosion resistance of the tank body, the carbon steel surface is usually treated with anti-corrosion, such as coating anti-corrosion paint, adopting cathodic protection and other measures to extend the service life of the oil tank.
