Tensile strength 132~148MPa, density 1.265 (amorphous) ~ 1.320 (crystalline) g/cm3; the maximum crystallinity of 48% can be achieved, usually 20~30%, impact strength (notched) 60~80J/m; elongation at break ≥150%; water absorption ≤ 0.1%; volume resistivity 1016Ω-cm; bending strength ≥140MPa Dielectric constant 3.2~3.3; tensile strength ≥93MPa; flame retardant (UL94) V-0, continuous working temperature up to 220 ℃, can be used as high temperature resistant structural materials and electrical insulation materials, can be composite with glass fiber or carbon fiber to prepare reinforced materials. This material has a large number of applications in the aerospace field, medical device field (as artificial bone repair bone defects) and industrial field, known as the tip of the pyramid of the plastics industry.
PEEK film properties:
PEEK film is produced by thermoplastic molding of the super engineering plastic PEEK resin, and is divided into two types: low-crystalline and high-crystalline. PEEK film has the following distinctive characteristics:
Mechanical properties: toughness and rigidity and balance of the plastic film, with excellent fatigue resistance, comparable to alloy materials.
High Temperature Resistance: Resistant to the temperatures of lead-free soldering processes, with RTI ratings of 220°C for non-shock mechanical applications and 200°C for electrical applications, and a carbonization point that remains stable up to 500°C.
Self-lubrication: excellent sliding characteristics, suitable for strict requirements of low coefficient of friction and wear-resistant applications, especially carbon fiber, graphite, each accounted for a certain percentage of mixed modified PEEK film self-lubricating performance is better.
Chemical resistance (corrosion resistance): excellent chemical resistance, in the usual chemicals that can dissolve or destroy it is only concentrated sulfuric acid, its corrosion resistance is similar to nickel steel.
Flame retardant: very stable polymer, without adding any flame retardant can achieve high flame retardant standards, halogen-free, in line with IEC 61249-2-21 standard.
Stripping resistance: very good stripping resistance, can be made into very thinly wrapped solenoid wires, and can be used under harsh conditions.
Fatigue resistance: Excellent fatigue resistance.
Irradiation resistance: very strong resistance to high irradiation, and still maintains good insulation ability under ultra-high irradiation dose.
Hydrolysis Resistance: Unaffected by the chemical effects of water and high-pressure water vapor, the products made from this film material can still maintain their excellent characteristics when used continuously in high-temperature and high-pressure water.
Meltability: Fuses with metal when it reaches a temperature above the melting point, ultrasonic sealing is easy (PET film can also be sealed), and laser dissolving and printing are possible.
High sound clarity: Avoiding the “hearing fatigue” caused by metallic film noise, better acoustic performance is realized.
Environmentally friendly and safe: lightweight, recyclable, RoHS compliant, can be used to manufacture products that comply with the same directive, and meets the requirements of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
Wide range of thickness options: films with a thickness of 4~300μm can be produced and customized according to customer needs.

PEEK Film application :
Aerospace: PEEK film can be used to make blades, turbine disks, valves, and other parts of aero-engines. It is characterized by high temperature stability, high wear resistance, high strength, etc. It can withstand high temperature, high pressure and high speed in extreme environments.
Medical device field: PEEK film can make a variety of medical device parts, such as artificial joints, dental implants, surgical instruments, etc. PEEK film has excellent biocompatibility and chemical stability, compatible with human tissue, and at the same time has high strength and abrasion resistance, etc., to meet the high requirements of medical devices on the material.
Electronic products field: PEEK film can make electronic products in the high-performance electronic components, sensors, battery diaphragms and other components. PEEK film has high temperature stability, low dielectric constant, low dielectric loss and other characteristics, can be in the high-frequency and high-temperature work, and has good electrical properties.
Automotive parts field: PEEK film can make automotive parts, such as valve plates, friction materials, seals, etc. PEEK film has high-temperature stability, abrasion resistance and chemical stability, and is able to withstand the high temperature, high pressure and high speed of the automotive engine environmental requirements.
