Keep the Windows Clean:
Before applying the window smart tint glass film, you will need to remove any stickers or decals from the windows. Then wash the windows with some soapy water. After making sure the windows are free of dust and debris, dry them with a rag.
Measure and Cut Your Shades:
If you are using rolled tints, you must measure and cut the tint. Before measuring, determine which side has adhesive. Cut a piece of the easy to handle shade from the roll and press it against the window. Cut off the excess tint until the tint fits the window.

Privacy ultra-white dimming glass is usually composed of ordinary glass coated with a layer of reversible thermochromic material. After decades of research and development. People have developed various reversible thermochromic materials such as inorganic, organic, polymer and biomolecule. However, for dimming glass, the color change temperature should be in the low temperature region to have practical value. Among the many reversible thermochromic materials, thin pdlc film roll coatings based on oxides of vanadium are a hot topic of research. Among them, VO is the most interesting oxide because its phase change temperature (q'C) is 68°C, which is of great importance in practical applications. When the temperature is lower than 68°C, VO has a monoclinic crystal system structure; when the temperature is higher than 68°C, it has a tetragonal crystal system structure. Due to the change of the crystal system structure, the optical properties of VO change greatly, and this change is reversible. Figure 3 shows the variation of transmittance and reflectance of VO films in the solar spectral range before and after the phase change.
