Sandblasted process for watch dial

This is minimal watch dial with dot lume printing. if zoom in, you would see the middle small dot is convex, they are not flat in horizontal it is very common way for Seiko dial in 80-90s. of course the hour markers shapes are different. now some microbrands like to homage for it. to create some design based on this process. Now Let us talk how to make this effect in our workshop. First, we do the procedure as other dials, then go to silk printing workshop. to print the small convex dots in several layers to make it a bit convex. then we use the luminous powder to mix with glue for liquid status like ink to print the bigger dots, at lease 5 layers for lume. if want to have stronger glowing, better 10-12 layers lume printing. it is quite suitable for Automatic or quartz Business watch or Vintage watch.
