ISO grade 8.8 is one kind of quenched and tempered steel grade in ISO 898 standard which is similar to US grades 5 and B7. ISO898 grade 8.8 threaded steel rod is usually metric threaded steel rod.  In ISO898 standard, except grade 8.8 threaded rod, there are also grade 10.9 threaded rod and grade 12.9 threaded rod.

ISO grade 8.8 Threaded Rod we produce is manufactured with rolled threads instead of cut, free from tears or tool marks typically found in cut threads. So the threaded rods are smoother and have less surface imperfections that may cause possible failure in severe service applications.

ISO grade 8.8 threaded rod is one of the most economical and most common form of threaded rod and in high demand because of its high strength, excellent heat resistance and resistance to corrosion.
