Rutile is mainly steel gray, some of which are brown red, light brown and other colors, with diamond luster. It has electrical conductivity, the specific gravity is 4.2~4.3. The particle size is slightly finer than that of titanium concentrate, 60 mesh to 80 mesh passes through, and 80 mesh passes 90%. The main constituent minerals of rutile concentrate are rutile, anatase and white titanium. The proportion of the three minerals determines the grade and quality of rutile concentrate.
