This is double-dome watch glass. Do you understand well for domed glass?, Domed- means the shape in Curved, not flat as we know. the most famous for domed building is Mosque. yes, it is round shape roof. like some stadiums. Double-domed means inside and outside of glass surface are curved. and this shape of glass would give the watch in a clear view of the dial even angles. and it would be a bit higher than watch bezel to make the watch in more three-dimensional look. This is why some brands's advertising proudly "their watches are in double-domed glasses" it is also a good selling point. Mineral glass in double domed is relatively easier to produce than Sapphire glass by production process. it takes shorter lead time for production.
