Mechanical manual dock leveler

Mechanical dock levelers are a kind manual operation dock leveler used in warehouse loading docks or loading bays. There is no motor or pump which need electricity or power supply to lift the dock leveler up when loading containers. Such mechanical dock levelers are driven by a spring lifting-up system under its platform. Through pulling hand chains, such spring system can be released to lift up the mechanical dock leveler body with spring force. When need retracting the dock leveler, worker can stand onto its platform and press it down with his body weight. Operation device |
There are two hand chains on the mechanical dock leveler platform. 1. First chain: Located at the back of platform. Hoist it and the mechanical dock leveler will lift up completely. After loading job finished, lift this chain to withdraw the mechanical dock leveler. 2. Second chain: Located at the front of platform. Hoist it and the mechanical dock leveler will get downward for lower trucks.
