The most suitable products for flame treatment are some cylindrical plastic bottles, and the effect is satisfactory no matter whether solvent-based ink or UV ink is used. The flame treatment machine for plastic bottles is composed of a flame generating device and a conveyor belt. The conveyor belt is often equipped with a rotatable support cone. The bottle can be inserted into the cone and enter the flame treatment head with the conveyor belt. The inside of the flame treatment head is filled with compressed air and Combustible gas, after ignition, sprays out a flame with pressure, which can oxidize the surface of the bottle. For automatic screen printing machines, flame treatment devices have almost become a standard configuration.

How to use the flame treatment machine for plastic barrels:

Preparation

• Place the flame treatment machine for plastic barrels in a stable and well-ventilated workplace, connect the corresponding gas source (usually a combustible gas source such as liquefied gas) and power supply, and check whether the connections of each line and pipeline are firm and leak-free.

• According to the size of the plastic barrel, adjust the size of the flame treatment machine tray, the size of the flame, the treatment time, the distance between the nozzle and the surface of the plastic barrel, etc. These parameters can often be set through the corresponding adjustment knobs, buttons or operation panels on the machine.

Flame treatment-flame treatment machine

Place the plastic barrel on the workbench tray of the treatment machine, and the conveying device drives the tray to the position where the flame nozzle can effectively treat it. The plastic barrel must be fixed with a clamp to prevent shaking during the treatment process. Ignite the gas to form a flame, and let the flame nozzle spray the surface of the plastic barrel according to the set trajectory and speed. The plastic barrel will rotate 360 degrees during the treatment process to properly oxidize the surface and improve its surface energy, which is conducive to subsequent printing, coating and other processing procedures.

After the flame treatment is completed, the plastic barrel should be taken to the silk screen printer for silk screen printing as soon as possible, and the adhesion should be checked. If the treatment effect is not good, the flame treatment machine parameters can be readjusted and the plastic barrel can be treated again.
