Definition of galvanized flat steel

Galvanized flat steel refers to galvanized steel with width of 12-300mm, thickness of 4-60mm, rectangular section and slightly blunt edge.

Main purpose

Galvanized flat steel can be used as finished material to make hoop iron, tools and mechanical parts, and it can be used as building frame structural parts and escalators.

Galvanizing process and flow

Hot dip galvanizing is also called hot dip galvanizing and hot dip galvanizing: it is an effective way of metal corrosion prevention, mainly used on metal structures and facilities in various industries. It is to immerse the derusted steel into the molten zinc at about 500 ℃, so as to attach zinc layer on the surface of the steel member, so as to prevent corrosion.

Hot galvanizing process flow: finished product pickling - water washing - adding plating aid - drying - hanging plating - cooling - chemical - cleaning - grinding - hot galvanizing completion

Hot galvanizing is developed from the older hot galvanizing method. It has a history of 140 years since France applied hot galvanizing to industry in 1836. However, the hot-dip galvanizing industry has been developed on a large scale with the rapid development of cold rolled strip steel in the past 30 years

Advantages of galvanized flat steel

1. Special product specifications. The thickness is 8~50mm, the width is 150-625mm, the length is 5-15m, and the product specification span is dense, which can meet the needs of users. Instead of using medium plates, welding can be carried out directly without cutting.

2. The product surface is smooth and clean. High pressure water descaling process is adopted for the second time in the process to ensure smooth and clean steel surface.

3. Both sides are vertical and the water chestnut is clear. The second vertical rolling in finishing rolling ensures good perpendicularity of both sides, clear angle and good edge surface quality.

4. The scale of the product is accurate, with three-point difference and the same level difference superior to the steel plate standard; The product is straight and of good shape. Continuous rolling process and automatic looper control are adopted for finish rolling to ensure no steel stacking and no steel pulling. The product has high dimensional accuracy, and the tolerance range, three-point difference, same strip difference, sickle bending and other parameters are superior to the medium plate, and the flatness of the plate is good. Cold shearing, with high precision of length and sizing.

5. The product material adopts the national standard, which is the same as the steel plate, and the quality and technical standards are in accordance with YB/T4212-2010 standard (Q345B/Q235B refer to GB/T1591-94 and GB/T700-88 respectively).
