Application Areas

Replacing metal with PEI in the manufacture of fiber optic connectors optimizes the structure of the component, simplifies its manufacturing and assembly steps, and maintains more precise dimensions. It is used in the automotive field, for example, in the manufacture of high-temperature connectors, high-powered lamps and indicators, sensors for controlling the temperature of the exterior of automotive compartments (air-conditioning temperature sensors), and sensors for controlling the temperature of air and fuel mixtures (effective combustion temperature sensors).
