  The manual image measuring instrument is a high-precision measuring equipment that can obtain the geometric information of the object, such as length, angle, area, etc., by shooting the image of the object.   A manual video measuring instrument uses a zoom objective lens to amplify the measured object, and the image is input into a computer through a CCD industrial camera device. The enlarged image of the measured object is transmitted to the measurement software for non-contact and efficient geometric measurement of various complex workpieces.
Unlike automatic video-measuring instruments, manual video-measuring instruments are driven by motors on three axes and can achieve automatic measurement. The three axes of the manual video measuring instrument are manually controlled by the operator for measurement. The disadvantages are slow measurement speed and poor repeated measurement accuracy. The advantages are low cost, no programming required for operation, and more convenience for testing individual products. With the development of automatic control technology, manual video-measuring instruments have been replaced by automatic video-measuring instruments.
