Fisetin powder extract is one of the flavonoids that has been extensively studied. Theoretically, fisetin is a flavonol molecule similar to the flavonols found in dark chocolate and cocoa. Traces of fisetin can also be found in certain fruits and vegetables.

Based on existing research, strawberries have particularly high levels of fisetin, followed by apples. The fisetin content in strawberries is approximately five times that in apples and more than thirty times the amount typically found in mangoes, kiwis, grapes, tomatoes, onions, cucumbers, and various nuts.

However, the fisetin content in these foods is still insufficient compared to the amounts found in dietary supplements. In Japan, the estimated average daily intake of fisetin is 0.4 milligrams. As a dietary supplement, the recommended daily dose of fisetin should be 100 milligrams.
