Description of High shear mixer granulator:
GHL High Shear Mixer Granulator is a high efficiency equipment that can mix different powder materials and granulate granules in one procedure. It is widely used for health product industry, food industry, animal remedy industry and chemical industry, etc.
GHL series high shear mixer granulator consists of a vertical mixing barrel, bottom placed agitating impeller and side installed choppers. When powders or slurry materials are fed into the mixing barrel, the specially designed rotating impeller pushes the material onto the inner barrel wall. Under the effect of centrifugal force, the material moves up alongside the barrel wall to form a swirl flow. At the same time, the side installed high-speed chopper completely shear and chop the materials to get uniform mixing.
High shear mixer granulator is also extensively used for wet granulation process by evenly adding binder to fine-powder mixture to
get uniform granules in a short time.
GHL series high shear mixer granulator can carry out even mixing of powders or slurry materials with different proportion, so that the mixed materials can reach their best effectiveness. Also it has been used for wet granulation process,
Features of high shear mixer granulator:
1. The machine adopts horizontal barrel (cone) structure. Its structure is reasonable
2. The inner surface has no dead corner. It works at sealed state and confirms to the requirements of GMP3. Short granulating time, high efficiency and energy saving
4. The character of granule is uniform and the fluidization of granule is good. It provides ideal granule material to tablet
processing procedure
5. Compressed with traditional process, it can reduce 25% of binder and shorten drying time too
6. Each batch needs 2 minutes to dry mixing and 1 minute to granulating. Compared with traditional process, its efficiency can raise 4-5 times
7. Whole operation has strict safe productive measures
8. It can mix uniformly even when the gravity difference between main material and excipient is very big, without the phenomenon of delamination.
