Used in the manufacturing of Free Cutting Steel to increase machinability:

Low sulfur content in Steel smelting is harmful: poor inoculation effect, poor graphite morphology, and poor cutting performance.

Used as a suitable and economical sulfur addition agent to prevent hydrogen embrittlement and to maintain minimum sulphur content of no less than 0.015%.

Using sulfur addition agent has a higher recovery rate than using sulfur, and it will not pollute the environment. When using sulfur addition agent, it can be directly added to the surface of the molten steel, or it can be wrapped with aluminum foil or iron sheet and inserted into the interior of the molten steel or added to the steel stream. Its recovery rate is high and stable.
