Smart Glass is a laminated glass panel with a polymer dispersed liquid crystal interlayer film (PDLC Smart Film).
Smart Glass offers instant privacy at the flick of a switch or by a remote controller by changing its state from transparent to opaque and vice versa.
When the power is switched on, the liquid crystal molecules align and incident light passes through and the smart glass instantly clears.
When the power is switched off, the liquid crystal molecules are randomly oriented, scattering light. PDLC Smart Glass becomes opaque (frosted, private).
