Same as those 810nm LED, 820nm infrared LED are also widely used in beauty industry and some medical applications. As we know, there have two type of encapsulation: SMD LED (surface mount device and DIP (dual in line package). The later one, DIP LED lamps, these package type are available for kinds of viewing angle, such 45 degree, 60 degree, 90 degree ect. For the picture as follow, we package this 820nm dare die with 5mm through-hole LED case and clear lens 30 degree viewing angle. Commonly, the more wider viewing angle you got, the more bigger radiation area you can got. But with more narrow angle, you will got more longer radiation when this infrared LED is working. So this IR LED will got a longer radiation distance than the 45 degree, 60 degree and 90 degree viewing angle~ Do you need some 820nm LED emitter for your project?
