1.Specifications：

Corn gluten meal is a by-product of the manufacture of maize starch (and sometimes ethanol) by the wet-milling process. Corn gluten meal is a protein-rich feed, containing about 65% crude protein, used as a source of protein, energy and pigments for livestock species including fish. It is also valued in pet food for its high protein digestibility. Corn gluten meal is a protein-rich feed containing from 60 to 75% crude protein. It contains about 15-20% DM of residual starch and limited amounts of fiber (crude fiber 1% DM), fat (3% DM) and minerals (2%). Due to its high protein content, corn gluten meal is mostly used as a source of protein as a potential alternative to other plant- or animal-based proteins. Corn gluten meal is also a source of energy, due to its high gross energy (23.1 MJ/kg DM) coupled to high energy digestibility’s (> 90% in ruminants and pigs).

2.Corn Gluten is an efficiently digestible product having energy value of ME 4131K Cal/kg and hence used widely as poultry meal for Chickens, Broiler, Laying hens etc. It is an excellent source of Vitamins and Minerals.Corn Gluten is extensively used as cattle feeds across the globe. It is preferred to nourish cattle with fiber rich diet by reason of the complexity of their digestive systems.

3.Storage And Handling:

Corn Gluten Meal is available in bulk, and as such stored in traditional bulk bins and handled accordingly. For farm use,the meal can be put on a cement slab, or placed in a commodity bin. Being of fine texture, the meal must be covered to prevent blowing where winds may be a problemand some protection from the weather is recommended.Like all feedstuffs, Corn Gluten Meal should have dry, insectfree storage
