The lining material shall be selected according to The corrosivity, abrasion and temperature of the medium to be tested :
1. Natural rubber (soft rubber) : It has good elasticity, abrasion resistance and breaking force, and is resistant to the corrosion of general weak acid and weak alkali. It is used for measuring water and sewage.
2. Acid-resistant rubber (hard rubber) : It can resist the corrosion of hydrochloric acid, acetic acid, oxalic acid, ammonia water, phosphoric acid and 50% sulfuric acid, sodium hydroxide and potassium hydroxide at normal temperature, but it is not resistant to the corrosion of strong oxidant. It is used to measure common acid, alkali and salt solutions.
3. Neoprene (Neoprene) : it is resistant to the corrosion of acid-base and salt solution with low concentration, but not the corrosion of oxidizing medium. It can measure the temperature <80℃, and measure water, sewage, mud and slurry.
4. Polyurethane rubber (Polyurethane) : coal slurry, mud and ore slurry with poor acid and alkaline resistance, measurable temperature <40℃, neutral and strong abrasion.
5. Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) : Boiling-resistant hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, nitric acid, aqua regia, concentrated alkali and various organic solvents. It has good wear resistance and poor bonding performance. It can measure temperature -80 ~ + 180℃, concentration, strong corrosive solution of concentrated alkali and sanitary medium.
