Polyetherimide (PEI for short) is a super engineering plastic made of amorphous polyetherimide. polyetherimide board English name Polyetherimide PEI board belongs 

to amorphous plastic. It is an amorphous high-performance polymer, 

which is extruded from engineering plastics made of amorphous PEI 

(polyetherimide) at high temperature by an extruder. At present, the 

commonly used PEI board is the raw material of American GE (trade 

name Ultem). In 1972, the American GE company began to research 

and develop PEI.
