MIF1602RL——16mm diameter bi-directional ball screw

A precise bi-directional ball screw is fabricated with two threaded sections of opposite-handedness on a single screw shaft, including one right-hand threaded section and one left-hand threaded section. The right-hand and left-hand nuts threaded onto it are attached to moving mechanical components. As the high-speed bidirectional ball screw rotates, these two moving mechanical components will swiftly approach or separate by the movement of the ball nuts, fulfilling the desired mechanical functions.

Advantages of high-rigidity bi-directional ball screws:

1. High-precision positioning

The friction coefficient between the balls and the raceways of the linear motion ball screw is low, and the transmission efficiency is high. As a result, precise displacement can be achieved with a relatively small driving force. Moreover, the backlash is extremely small, which can effectively avoid the lost motion error.

2. High load capacity

The steel balls of the bidirectional ball screws roll within the raceways, evenly distributing the axial load among multiple balls. Compared with traditional ball screws, this significantly improves the load-bearing capacity. Moreover, the special structure of the high preload CNC ballscrew enables it to bear loads in two directions, enhancing its applicability.

3. High transmission efficiency (up to 96%)

The balls roll between the screw shaft and the nut. The rolling friction replaces the sliding friction, which greatly reduces the frictional force and thus improves the transmission efficiency.
