The density of silicon calcium alloy varies depending on the composition, but it is generally dense. Its melting point is between 980 and 1200℃, and its conductivity is good at high temperatures.

Production process

Silicon calcium alloy is usually obtained by smelting in a strong reducing atmosphere at a high temperature of 1500-1800 degrees. The specific process includes mixed feeding method, layered feeding method and calcium carbide method.
