1. Description:

The BWN-ODN-8 and BWN-ODN-16 are pre-connected optical distribution boxes specifically designed for outdoor applications. These innovative boxes provide a cost-effective and user-friendly fiber distribution solution, setting themselves apart from traditional products.

Available in two sizes—35x19x14 cm and 35x19x16 cm—these Outdoor Multiport Service Terminal (MST) Box closures can accommodate up to 64, 96, or 100 fusion splices by utilizing different splice trays. Each unit is equipped with either a 1×8 or 1×16 PLC splitter and crafted from durable polypropylene, available in a sleek black finish with customizable color options.

The pre-connectorized units feature a single oval cable entry point capable of accommodating cables up to 18 mm in diameter, along with two branch entries for cables up to 14 mm. Users must specify the fiber cable type and diameter to ensure that the appropriate sealing plugs are provided for a reliable waterproof seal.

These boxes come with 8 or 16 adapter ports and are rated IP68, ensuring they are resistant to moisture, water, dust, and aging. Designed for optimal ease of use, they facilitate straightforward cable routing and can be mounted on poles, aerially, or on walls. Beyond their applications in Fiber to the Home (FTTH), these boxes are also suitable for Fiber to the Antenna (FTTA) and other demanding outdoor environments.
