1. Description:

The MBN-FOSC-HB-8MPO Pre-Connectorized NAP Box is specifically designed for terminating both traditional and pre-connectorized optical cables with a robust mechanical seal. This box plays a vital role in pre-connection optical setups, particularly within the feeder segment of the network.

As a half-style closure, the MBN-FOSC-HB-8MPO seamlessly accommodates pre-connected horizontal connectors. Its innovative single-ended design acts as a central hub for unequal ratio fully pre-connected solutions, transforming conventional optical cables into single-core pre-connected systems. The box offers 48 LC/APC output ports and supports MPO QuickConnect feeder cables, providing a plug-and-play solution that eliminates the need for fusion splicing. This ensures efficient connectivity without the requirement to access the enclosure.

Positioned at the user access point of the FTTH-ODN, the Pre-Connectorized NAP Box facilitates the connection between distribution optical cables and drop cables, enabling direct links, branching, and the protection of optical fibers. It is designed with outdoor applications in mind, featuring standard straight-through and branch cable holes to securely route downstream optical cables. Additionally, it includes pre-fabricated drop cable holes that are ideal for outdoor environments. These entry ports, secured with nuts or buckles, require specific pre-connectorized drop cables for optimal functionality.

Furthermore, the MBN-FOSC-HB-8MPO is equipped with a splicing and fiber spooling unit that effectively manages downstream optical cables, optical splitters, and pigtails. The design also integrates an optical splitter fixing structure that accommodates the output connector of the optical splitter, which is included in the adapter within the housing.
