The shape design of the Type EM piston/seal/wisher combines the geometry of the Type EL that we have used and proven to meet the requirements of a small cylinder, which is the smaller size and lower friction of the Type EM.

Polyurethane Seals EM advantage:

Two functions - sealing and dustproof in one.

Minimal space requirements - for safe usability and ideal contour finish.

Simple grooves, efficient manufacturing costs.

There are no additional axial positioning requirements.

Due to the special geometry of the seal and the wiper lip combined with the special material, the rod seal/wiper ring type EM, after initial lubrication, can also be used in dry and/or oil-free air.

It runs smoothly thanks to the functional lip-optimized adjustment.

Since the components are composed of a single polymeric material, there is no corrosion.

EM Dust Seal application range

Small Pneumatic Rod Seal/Wiper:

Working pressure: ≤16bar

Operating temperature: -35 to 80°C

Speed: ≤1m/s

medium:

Lubricated air and dry and oil-free air (after initial assembly lubrication)

KVK PU Seals EM Material

Standard polyurethane material with a hardness of Shore 90A.

Install:

O Rings Seals EM type self-positioning piston rod seal wiper can be manually or automatically installed into the groove when the piston rod is not installed. Take care to prevent dust and sealing lips from being damaged by sharp edges during assembly. Initial lubrication is a prerequisite for a long service life.
