Daewoo joystick seal repair kit installation steps:
1. Prepare tools and materials: joystick seal repair kit, wrench, screwdriver, rubber hammer, cleaning agent, lubricating oil, etc.
2. Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery for safety.
3. Raise the vehicle to an appropriate height for better access to the joystick.
4. Remove the joystick: Use a wrench and screwdriver to remove the bottom of the joystick, then remove the joystick from the vehicle.
5. Clean the joystick: Use a detergent to clean the surface of the joystick to ensure it is clean.
6. Replace the seal: install the seal in the fixing hole at the bottom of the joystick. Make sure the seal is fully inserted into the hole to prevent water leakage.
7. Apply lubricant: Apply lubricant to the face of the joystick and around the seals to ensure smooth operation.
8. Install the joystick: Reinstall the joystick into the vehicle and secure it with a wrench and screwdriver.
9. Connect the negative terminal of the battery to test whether the joystick works normally.
10. Finally, check the sealing performance of the joystick to ensure that it is completely sealed to prevent water leakage.
