Kevlar fiber is a new type of material with many fiber characteristics, among which the most prominent features are: low density of Kevlar fiber, high strength of Kevlar fiber, good toughness of Kevlar fiber, high temperature resistance of Kevlar fiber, and easy processing and molding of Kevlar fiber. The strength of Kevlar fiber is five times greater than that of steel of the same quality, but its density is not less than 20% of that of steel. After being made into braided sleeve products, Kevlar fiber has special properties such as tenacity, wear resistance, hardness and softness, and difficulty for knives and guns. Therefore, it is widely used in military affairs.

Kevlar braided sleeve is woven from Kevlar special fiber. This special material braided sleeve has the advantages of high temperature resistance, fire retardant, light weight, high strength, high modulus, stable size, low shrinkage, puncture resistance, wear resistance, heat resistance, chemical corrosion resistance, good mechanical properties, good dielectric properties, etc. In addition, in the multi-branch cable assembly, the end of the fiber sleeve is also easy to handle. It can be sewn and bound to ensure that the bifurcation is soft and easy to bend, and the harness is well protected in the cavity with small space.

What material is Kevlar

Kevlar, originally known as KEVLAR, also translated as Kevlar or Kevlar, is a new type of aramid fiber composite material. The original name of the material is polyphenylenediamine, commonly known as fireproof fiber. The models are divided into K29, K49, K49AP, etc.

This new material has low density, high strength, good toughness, high temperature resistance, easy processing and molding. Its strength is five times that of steel of the same quality, but its density is only one fifth of that of steel.
