Product Description:
Orifice flow meter, also known as differential pressure flow meter, is composed of a primary detection component (throttling component) and a secondary device (differential pressure transmitter and flow display instrument). Widely used in gas, steam and liquid flow measurement. It has the advantages of simple structure, convenient maintenance and stable performance. The basic principle is that because the aperture of the throttle is smaller than the inner diameter of the pipe, when the fluid flows through the throttle, the beam section suddenly shrinks and the flow rate accelerates. The static pressure of the fluid at the back of the throttling part is reduced, so that the static pressure difference is generated before and after the throttling part (see the schematic diagram of the throttling device), and there is a definite numerical relationship between the static pressure difference and the fluid flow through the fluid. Use differential pressure transmitter (or differential pressure meter) to measure the differential pressure before and after the throttle to measure the flow rate.
