Z1S6 valve is a direct-acting check valve with superimposed structure. 

The check valve is closed without leakage in one direction and allows free flow in the other direction. The stroke of the taper spool is limited by the spring seat . The spring causes the tapered spool to close. When no flow passes through, the spring holds the spool in the closed position.
