Piston Seals C2

Type C2 piston seals meet the needs of hydraulic and pneumatic equipment manufacturers with the smallest possible groove seals, and despite the small cross-section and height of this Sealing Ring, the sealing performance is excellent. Extremely low friction is experienced due to the short contact of the sealing surface area. Due to the special construction, no retaining rings or supports are required. For installation in a non-lubricated pneumatic system (dry air), our company's E4 type installed in the same groove is recommended.

Ring Sealing C2 Installation:

Type C2 piston seals are undersized relative to nominal size. After installation, the sealing lip diameter reaches the required size. This lip seal fits easily into the groove. Do not pull the seal over sharp edges. Pressure peaks should be avoided in the case of double-acting pistons. In this case a seal with a large cross-sectional area or another type of seal with a backup ring should be used.
