Gravure mirror silver ink

【Product introduction】 

     Gravure mirror silver ink is a solvent-based self-drying ink and it is suitable for gravure printing machines. It is mainly printed on transparent film substrates, such as PET/PVC/OPP. It is usually printed on the reverse side and viewed from the front.The effect seen by the naked eye is very silvery white and bright, and it has an effect similar to looking in a mirror. It is suitable for the printing and packaging of high-end products to enhance the added value and specialness of the product.

【Usage performance】

     1. Gravure mirror silver ink has fine particles, good adhesion, and good printing adaptability. Due to the particularity of this ink, it is easier to separate and precipitate. It must be shaken or stirred evenly before use.

     2.This ink is suitable for gravure printing machines with printing speeds from 60 meters/min to 200 meters/min. For low-speed printing, raw ink can be used for direct printing; for high-speed printing, ester solvents are appropriately added before printing.

     3.The gloss and mirror effect of printing on different substrates are also different, and the thickness of the printed ink layer is different. Therefore, multiple small batch printing proofs are required before mass printing.

【Storage and shelf life】

It is recommended to store it in a dry and cool place, away from sunlight, and away from fire sources and tinder. If the mirror ink is unopened, the shelf life is 6 months. After the shelf life has passed, it can continue to be used after passing the test.
