1/4'' 1020/2A7 240VAC CASTEL Type Solenoid Valve

Castel type normally colsed solenoid valve and coil are designed for installation on commercial refrigeration systems and civil and industrial air conditioning systems employing the following refrigerants: R22, R134a, R404A, R407C, R410A, R507.

The valves series 1020 ; 1028 ; 1034 ; 1038 ; 1040 ; 1048 ; 1049 ; 1050 ; 1058 ; 1059 , 1064 ; 1068 ; 1070 ; 1078 ; 1079 ; 1090 ; 1098 ; 1099 are normally closed valves.
NC = when the coil is de-energised the plunger stops the fluid flow, when the coil is electrically energised the plunger opens the valve seat connecting the inlet to the outlet. The NC valves are supplied either without coil (S type) or with coil (A6 type with coil HM2–220/230 VAC and A7type with coil HM2–240 VAC).

OPERATION
The coils are normally closed (NC). This means that when the coil is not energised, the plunger closes the fluid passage. When the coil is energised, the plunger opens the valve seat connecting the inlet to the outlet.

The valves series 1020 and 1028 are direct acting valves. Their operation depends only on the magnetic field produced by the current flow into the coil. Opening/closing of main valve seat, the only seat, is directly controlled by the mobile plunger. These valves can work with zero pressure differential.

APPLICATION
The solenoid valves illustrated in this chapter are designed for installation on commercial refrigeration systems and on civil and industrial air conditioning plants that use the following refrigerant fluids:
• HCFC (R22)
• HFC (R134a , R404A , R407C , R410A , R507)
• HFO and HFO/HFC mixtures (R1234ze , R448A , R449A, R450A , and R452A)
