Industrial Refractory Cylindrical Alumina Ceramic Crucible


The prime strength of the crucible is that it can withstand higher than the melting temperature of the deposited alloy without altering or contaminating the molten metal. In some cases, when the crucible is placed in these very high temperature environments, it must be strong enough to withstand the movement for subsequent processing related to the molten substance.


The ceramic crucible is usually used without overfilling the molten material, to prevent the heated material from jumping out, and to allow air to flow freely in and out for possible oxidation reactions. Do not place the crucible on a cold metal table immediately after heating to avoid it breaking due to rapid cooling.

1. Material: 99% alumina ceramic or higher purities, corundum-mullite ceramic, zirconia ceramics, boron nitride optional
2. Shape: we supply various shapes, including cylinder, rectangular, square, boat, and so on. 
3. Features: all-ceramic crucibles are with excellent chemical resistance, thermal - shock performance. 
4. Working temperature: It can be work under max. 1650ºC long term in air, or up to 2000ºC under inert gas
5. Application: They are commonly used in a variety of metal or non-metal melting material, or melting items analysis in the lab, also it's a regular application for smelting & sintering for phosphors, rare earth material, precious metals.
